Workshop starts and finishes in Whitianga
Basing ourselves in idyllic Whitianga we are well positioned to photograph some of the highlights of the Coromandel. With Hahei a little way south and the stunning beaches of the Kuaotunu region just to the north there is a strong focus on beach and coastal photography. However we also photograph Kauri forest, waterfalls and more on this workshop.
This is a weekend workshop which focuses on getting you to the right locations to capture amazing photographs of this region. We also run sessions on camera settings, composition, and Lightroom post processing.
Our weekend workshops are an immersive hands on experience where you will be putting your newly acquired knowledge to use in-the-field. We believe in giving you sound knowledge and developing new skills in landscape photography, and then putting these to practice in some of New Zealand's best landscapes.
We have well planned and exciting schedules gained from many years’ experience photographing in these locations. However we are also big believers in allowing for flexibility in our schedule - especially to allow for changing weather conditions and dramatic light. We have learnt that sometimes the best photographs are captured when you ‘follow the light’.
